We are Inge and Ed and our children, Alex and Nadine. Originally from Austria and Switzerland, we have been calling New Zealand and the Bay of Islands our home for over 30 years.

Tourism and hospitality is our passion and we strive to provide exceptional service in a warm and friendly environment.

Both of us have been in the hospitality industry for many years. Inge grew up in a hotel resort in the Austrian Alps and has a degree in Hotel Management. Eddie is the technical man. He had a big input in the design and build of the chalet. Both of us speak English, German and French.

We love living in New Zealand and the Bay of Islands. We believe New Zealand is the most versatile country on earth and the Bay of Islands the most beautiful part of it.

We are keen sailors, bikers, we love the outdoors, traveling and meeting new people. It gives us much pleasure in assisting our guests in their travel plans and to make their time with us and in our beautiful country unforgettable.
